Your wealth does not recognise borders. Your adviser should not either
Cross-Border
For families whose assets, residency, and future plans span more than one jurisdiction, the UK tax system creates exposure that most domestic advisers are not equipped to address. Loxley Advisory operates fluently across the UK, Hong Kong, Dubai, Australia, and New Zealand, embedded in every engagement, not referred to a separate international desk.
How we work across borders
We do not maintain a network of correspondent firms and pass files between them. We design the complete structural architecture from the UK, coordinating with local advisers where specialist in-country execution is required, but retaining a single point of accountability for the overall structure.
The families and businesses we work with
You came to the UK under the BNO pathway or through long-standing ties. Since April 2025, the non-dom regime that may have shielded some overseas assets has fundamentally changed. Many families who arrived five or six years ago are now considering whether to return to Hong Kong. We design structures that protect your position whether you stay, return, or your plans change along the way, conducted trilingually in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
Settled with significant wealth and serious commercial ambition, ready to build a UK-based international operation or holding structure for cross-border trade. The FIC that protects family wealth and the corporate structure that powers the business need to be designed as a single coherent architecture, not two separate exercises by two separate advisers.
A UK-based business with manufacturing in Asia, offices in Hong Kong, design or distribution elsewhere, and management resident in the UK for years. We act as retained tax adviser providing continuous strategic oversight across every jurisdiction the business touches, a permanent relationship, not project work with a start and end date.
UK resident for a generation or more, wealth originally built in Hong Kong or Greater China, now substantially within the UK tax net. The challenge is succession: how a family estate built across two cultures and two tax regimes passes cleanly to the next generation.
A strategic location for families with ties to the UK, Hong Kong, or both: political stability, tax neutrality, proximity to Asia. We navigate the interaction between UK residency rules, UAE structures, and the absence of a comprehensive UK and UAE double tax treaty.
For families with property, pensions, or business interests in Australia or New Zealand, or planning retirement and reunion with family there. We hold professional membership with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, fluency in the environment clients are moving into, not just the one they are leaving.
Our presence in the region
Oscar Ip serves as senior adviser to two established professional firms based in Hong Kong, one of which maintains an extended advisory network across Greater China and Taiwan. These are active advisory relationships, not referral arrangements, giving Loxley direct, current insight into the region.
This is why we do not treat Hong Kong as a foreign jurisdiction. It is part of our professional home.
